Well thank you both for the information bit as a responsible cacher I red the whole disclaimer that they give you before submitting a cache so I was aware of that.

footTrax don’t worry I will have about 5 caches I can do on my way home on the Tamiami trail so I can have fun with those lol.

Carolyn thanks for your inside on the EarthCaches that I did not know about. It is good to always learn something new.

You cannot hide physical caches in National Parks, but many will accept development of EarthCaches. I developed one in Mammoth Cave National Park last year, and there are 4 or 5 others there, too.

Just remember you can't hide caches in National Parks. You also need permission from a ranger if you are hiding in a State Park. Have Fun!

And I do thank you for getting me into this I hope one day you can pass by and find some of my caches, since this month I will trying to hide about 4 more and one of the it is going to be a 6 stage multicache with a 9 to 10 miles in total just for that one. I am really working on it when I come back from BC I will start looking at the terrain for this one. Yes I got addicted lolol ;)

I'm glad I was able to talk you into Geocaching. We need more good hikers like you to hide good caches. Have fun out there in Big Cypress. I'm glad to see Russell is joining you.
