I've seen my fair share of stolen cars in Ocala. Occassionally I'll even stumble across sprinkler heads and mounds of oooold bricks. Once a brief case was in the middle of a trail. Opening it revealed a video camera, the VHS kind. I didn't take a chance on looking any further...

Now, I may be new to this site, but if someone starts talking about looking for Bigfoot, I'm in. I'm not saying I think it's real, but I like the idea of mankind not knowing EVERYTHING that's out there. I've lived in Florida all my life and only saw my first Ocala black bear in 2007.

Word of advice stay out of Big Cypress NP in June,July and August. This period of time is believed to be mating season for the skunk ape. Yikes!

The big one was about 6' in length. I haven't seen any Bos constrictors in our area.

Hey Trax, whats the biggest one you have seen? The orange one in your 1st post looks enormous. I have seen some in the Homestead tomatoe farm area's.
Have you ever seen any boa constrictor's in your area. Thats weird. Thanks DS

I was kayaking Lake Osborne today and saw about 20 of them. They need to do something about them.
Here's some more pictures. I even got a picture of one swimming.
