I have a Canon Supershot A580..nothing fancy, but it fits in the pocket of any of the convertible pants I wear hiking so that is fine with me. I'm sure there are better, fancier cameras out there, but for a novice like me, who just enjoys landscape…

Prairie Lakes North Loop Hike
I decided to get up early today and hike the north loop of Prairie Lakes. Prairie Lakes WMA is located in Kenansville, about an hour west of Melbourne and is part of the Three Lakes WMA . The North and South Loops form a figure 8, approximately 10.5 miles total. Part of the loops are blazed orange indicating they are part of the FST, and the remainining sections are blazed white. Kayak/camping Rock Springs/Wekiwa Springs State park
Last weekend, a friend and I spent a couple nights camping out in Rock Springs. Rock Springs Run is a nice paddle if anyone ever is in this area, very scenic. (approx. 30 minutes north of Orlando, takes about 4 hours to do from Kings Landing to the Wekiwa Springs).
