Hi Ata, I did post a picture of this same waterfall the other day without the flowers. This waterfall is on the Econfina Creek in North Florida...the central panhandle. I will post more about this on my blog.

Unfulfilled Promises Threaten a Fragile Resource

Sorry to not be so caught up in just all the beauty....



In my understanding the Florida Trail was going to go through this airport area but St. Joe (paper co.) etc...would not allow it. I am not sure of the politics....Currently the Florida Trail is just north of all this mess but it still really makes me sick to see it.



This effects two seperate creeks and West Bay etc...etc...




What a nightmare. I had hopes that this new N.Florida airport

Econfina Creek Waterfall, etc..

I hiked to the Econfina Creek waterfall again the other day. It was a beautifaul day to hike but I did get one chigger that caught me by surprise. What are chiggers doing out in late January anyway? The real good news is that it was only one chigger.tongue
