Dx: Spider Bite

I noticed a bump just below my left knee a few days ago. Woke up this morning and it looks as if it erupted. Red ring (dime sized) around necrotic center. Had some joint pains, yesterday.

Went to doc today and it is a confirmed spider bite. I never felt the bite and the last time I was outdoors was last Saturday in JDSP.

Ten days of antibiotics and Silver Sulfadiazine applied locally BID.

Fun.

Comment by Bricky Way on October 13, 2009 at 6:54am: Sorry to hear about that, I had a bad one back in the mid 90's when I worked at a park up in SC. My symptoms were similar, it left a mark that's still there to this day. I didn't feel the bite when it happened either.
